Encounters at the End of the World. [Celebrated documentary filmmaker Werner Herzog takes you on a wild and woolly journey to the South Pole, from the National Science Foundation's headquarters on Ross Island to some of Antarctica's most remote and dangerous terrain. With a keen eye for the wonders and sometimes hilarious peculiarities of this icy land's animal and human inhabitants, Herzog offers an astounding look at the world's most inhospitable landscape. ~netflix] interesting. the underwater stuff is really fascinating. it feels like it's a different world... and the people are fascinating in that, oh-my-god-what-a-bunch-of-freaks sorta way. 4 stars. read steve's review for more info.
Futurama: Bender's Game. [Matt
Groening's Emmy Award-winning sitcom blasts into the realm of feature
film in this animated adventure that traps the Planet Express crew in a
fantastical world where anything can happen -- and does. Billy West is back as the voice of hapless pizza delivery boy Philip J. Fry, with John DiMaggio and Katey Sagal reprising their roles as Bender the potty-talking robot and Cycloptic captain Turanga Leela. Rich Little and George Takei guest star. ~netflix]
shit gets even crazier than usual in this one and i love it. the extras
are funny, too. especially when they're talking about D&D. i never
played, but i can definitely relate. hehe. 5 stars.
Hancock. [Will Smith stars as Hancock, a down-and-out superhero forced to employ a PR expert, Ray Embrey (Jason Bateman),
to help repair his image when the public grows weary of all the damage
he has inflicted during his life-saving heroics. Ray's idea of
imprisoning the antihero to make the world miss him proves successful,
but will Hancock stick to his new sense of purpose or slip back into
old habits? Charlize Theron co-stars in Peter Berg's action comedy. ~netflix]
it was better than i thought it would be. i was expecting absolutely
nothing, so i guess that's not really saying much. heh. i love jason
bateman. anytime i get to see him on screen, it makes me happy. 3 stars.
Hellboy II: The Golden Army. [The identities of Hellboy (Ron Perlman), Liz Sherman (Selma Blair) and Abe Sapien (Doug Jones)
are exposed as they face a new threat: The Golden Army, assembled of
long-hidden mythological creatures, is prepared to attack. As fantastic
monsters and paranormal phenomena begin to take over, the trio races to
destroy the army's leader, the vengeful Prince Nuada (Luke Goss). John Alexander co-stars in Guillermo del Toro's spellbinding sequel. ~netflix] i really liked it. apparently, a lot of nerds didn't like it. but i did. 4 stars.
His Girl Friday. [Cary Grant
is an ultrasophisticated alpha male: Swaggering, cocky and ready for
anything, he's alternately irresistible and infuriating to women. As a
fast-talking newspaper publisher determined to win back his ex-wife (Rosalind Russell)
from her new fiancé, Grant's comedic gifts are allowed free rein -- and
Russell matches every bon mot. The dialogue crackles like thin ice on a
frozen lake. ~netflix] it was all right. not one of my favorite classics, but not bad. and dude, where DOES she get those fabulous hats? hehe. 3 stars.
Planet B-Boy. [This
Tribeca Film Festival selection affords viewers exclusive access to the
underground world of break dancing, charting the highs and lows of five
B-boy teams practicing for the all-important "Battle of the Year."
Combining stunning dance footage from Japan, Germany, South Korea,
France and the United States, documentarian Benson Lee sets out to show that break dancing didn't fade into history -- it merely evolved into a remarkable art form. ~netflix]
not only is the subject matter fascinating, but the documentary itself
is very well done. even though i could've looked up the winner, i
didn't so i could really get into it. and i totally did. i was so tense
by the end of the documentary. heh. so awesome. 5 stars.
Reno 911, Season 2. [Picking up where they left off, Thomas Lennon, Kerri Kenney, Ben Garant and
the rest of the comic cast return for more tomfoolery as ham-fisted
cops trying to safeguard the town. The sophomore season, which includes
16 hysterical installments, features guest appearances by Danny DeVito
and singer Kenny Rogers. Among the bonus material are an Aspen Comedy
Festival featurette and a host of deleted scenes and outtakes. ~netflix] this show cracks me up. i don't know what it is about this show, but it ALWAYS makes me laugh. 4 stars.
Step Brothers. [Brennan Huff (Will Ferrell) and Dale Doback (John C. Reilly)
-- two grown men still living at home -- turn into jealous, competitive
stepbrothers when their single parents marry in this Judd
Apatow-produced comedy. Brennan's constant competition with Dale
strains his mom's (Mary Steenburgen) marriage to Dale's dad (Richard Jenkins).
Will the reluctant stepsiblings ever see eye to eye? And more
importantly, will they ever leave the nest? ~netflix] there are
some funny ass lines in there. way funnier than talladega nights. but
it's totally bottom of the barrel humor, so you have to be in the mood
for it. 3 stars.
Transsiberian. [An
American couple (Woody Harrelson and Emily Mortimer) seeking to smooth
out their rough marriage buys a ticket on the legendary Trans-Siberian
Railway. But a chance meeting with two other passengers ends in an
accidental murder and high intrigue. Ben Kingsley and Thomas
Kretschmann co-star as two Russian police officers trying to solve the
baffling case in Brad Anderson's taut and gritty thriller. ~netflix]
pretty exciting thriller. i was surprised at how tense i was throughout
the movie. also, i'm never going to that part of the world. ever. hehe.
4 stars.
Tropic Thunder. [Drawing inspiration from films like Apocalypse Now and Platoon, this war movie send-up from director and star Ben Stiller
follows a group of dimwitted actors forced to become real-life soldiers
when they're abandoned in the jungles of Southeast Asia. Stiller leads
an all-star cast that includes Robert Downey Jr., Jack Black, Matthew McConaughey and Nick Nolte, with Tom Cruise in an unforgettable role as a rude, crude movie mogul. ~netflix]
i don't know why everyone hated this movie. it was kinda funny. the
"trailers" were effin' HILARIOUS. and robert downey jr was awesome, as
well. i dug it. 3 stars.
Wall-E. [In
a futuristic world, human beings have destroyed Earth and evacuated the
planet, leaving the cleanup to an army of robots they've programmed to
do their dirty work. Due to a mishap, the dutiful WALL-E is the only
one left. But with the arrival of a female probe named EVE, the
monotony of WALL-E's existence is broken -- and he experiences love for
the first time. Andrew Stanton (Finding Nemo) directs this Pixar tale with a sci-fi twist. ~netflix]
so cute! i really enjoyed it. just goes to show you that even robots
need love. hehe. charming and sweet, yet this movie has so many
different elements... robots, sci-fi, post-apocalpyse schtuff, and it's
even a love story. but somehow they just really made it work on so many
levels. 4.5 stars.
.:What Mia's Watching:.
The Year Without Santa Claus. [This
Christmas, visions of sitting by the fireside dance in Santa's head.
Tired of a world where children have lost the Christmas spirit, Santa
decides to sit out the Yuletide. Can Mrs. Claus and the elves convince
Santa to load up his sleigh? Produced and directed by Jules Bass and
Arthur Rankin Jr. (Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer), The Year Without
Santa Claus is fun for the whole family. ~netflix] i love the Snow Miser and the Heat Miser. hehe. and mia really enjoyed it. she's really getting into the stop motion animation. my daughter's the coolest. :D hehe. 4 stars.
.:What I'm Listening To:.
Violence Recordings: Salvation. calyx, teebee, and hive. some of the tracks i loved, some were just all right. but it's a pretty solid album. 3.5 stars.
Q-Tip: The Renaissance. i thought it was really good. i'm not a hip-hop guru or anything, but i do like good music. 4 stars.
Rockabye Baby: Radiohead. it's pretty awesome. it's quite relaxing. and it's never too early to expose your child to Radiohead. hehe. 4.5 stars.
Stanton Warriors: Stanton Sessions, Vol. 3.
i love me some stanton warriors. this album is thoroughly enjoyable
with just a couple of moments that didn't quite work... as a whole,
though, great album. 4 stars.
.:What I'm Reading:.
Burma Chronicles - Guy DeLisle.
i love reading Guy's travelogues. (you like how i'm on a first name
basis with him? heh.) i thought Pyongyang was a little better, but this
was still a very interesting read. 4 stars.
.:What I'm Playing:.
Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures. [Xbox 360]
i love these lego games. they're SO much fun! steve and i play co-op on
them and we kick ass. hehe. i would recommend these games to ANYONE.
can't wait to get Lego Batman. when we played Lego Star Wars, we played on the Playstation... and let me tell you, it looks WAY better on the xbox. there was one glitch with the co-op mode, but it wasn't so bad.
.:What I'm Watching:.
The Amateurs. [Depressed divorcé Andy Sargentee (Jeff Bridges) hatches a plan to produce an adult movie and get rich in this charming independent comedy. He drafts his buddy Barney (Tim Blake Nelson) as co-producer and taps Emmett (Patrick Fugit), a kid who owns a video camera, for director of photography. But the production is plagued by a host of problems, not the least of which is a leading man (Ted Danson) who has trouble "performing" on command. ~netflix] it was cute. nothing great. i mean, i liked it, but i didn't REALLY like it. if that makes sense. heh. and don't worry, prudes, there's nothing x-rated in the movie. hehe.
Gone Baby Gone. [When a 4-year-old girl goes missing in Dorchester, one of Boston's toughest hoods, private investigators Patrick Kenzie and Angela Gennaro (Casey Affleck and Michelle Monaghan) reluctantly agree to take the case. But the investigation proves tougher, riskier and more complex than they could have imagined. Ben Affleck's directorial debut, adapted from the Dennis Lehane novel, also stars Ed Harris, Morgan Freeman and Amy Ryan (in her first Oscar-nominated role). ~netflix] aaaaaaaaaand, i totally cried. sobbed, even. damn it. heh. i guess casey affleck CAN act! who knew?! anyway, it was really good. and i was a big ol' wuss about it. heh. what? i just kept thinking, "oh my god. if something happened to mia, i'd die...." and i really would. here's steve's review.
Inside The Smiths. [This profile of the Smiths gives fans a rare look inside one of the most influential bands in the history of rock thanks to interviews with members Andy Rourke and Mike Joyce.
As the band's rhythm section, Rourke and Joyce share what it was like
to work with Morrissey and Johnny Marr. In the process, they also
reveal their songwriting methods, and Rourke openly discusses his
battles with addiction. ~netflix] lots of cheesy shots. awful
extras menu. hard to navigate. but i love the smiths. and i love
learning more about them. so i tolerated it. also, i'm guessing it wasn't in their budget to use real songs by the smiths in the soundtrack. they would use little guitar riffs that were smiths-esque. heh.
The Invasion. [In
the process of researching a mysterious alien epidemic that's changing
the nature of human behavior, a Washington, D.C., psychiatrist (Nicole Kidman) learns that her son (Jackson Bond) may be the planet's only hope for survival. Daniel Craig, Jeremy Northam and Veronica Cartwright are among the supporting cast in director Oliver Hirschbiegel's supernatural thriller tinged with political undercurrents. ~netflix] we watched it a while ago, but here's steve's review. it's better than mine. hehe. :D
It Happened One Night. [Runaway socialite Ellie Andrews (Claudette Colbert) is en route to the Big Apple to elope with a fortune-hunting flyboy. Along the way she meets crusty newspaperman Peter Warne (Clark Gable),
who's just been sacked and -- unbeknownst to Ellie -- plans to sell her
story to get his job back. But a string of zany misadventures leads
them to realize they're madly -- if reluctantly -- in love. It Happened
One Night swept every major Academy Award. ~netflix] i really
liked it for what it was. it's pretty funny to see them say things that
are TOTALLY not PC and that they could NEVER get away with saying now.
also i like how they used to draw in the eyebrows so the women always
looked surprised. hehe.
Jakers! Treasure Hunt on Raloo Farm. [In this charming animated series, Piggley Winks entertains his
grandpigs with tales about his youthful adventures as a spunky Irish
porker. With his friends Dannan the duck, Ferny the bull and Wiley the
sheep, Piggley gets into heaps o' trouble but always learns a
meaningful life lesson along the way. ~netflix]
yes. it's a video for kids. but hey, we have a kid. and she LOVES it.
really. it's super cute. and i like it, too. so does steve! check out his review. he will tell you why you need to get it for your own kid(s). :D oh, and as budd reminded me, wiley the sheep is voiced by mel brooks! :D
Matthew Blackheart: Monster Smasher. [When a renegade World War II scientist (Christopher Heyerdahl) invents a green goo capable of transforming the dead into an army of monsters, America provides the antidote -- a monster-smashing machine known as Matthew Blackheart (Rob Bogue). Born from the reanimated remains of fallen U.S. war heroes, Blackheart uses his superhuman strength -- and patriotic fervor -- to bring down the enemy's undead soldiers. ~netflix] i saw this title and i KNEW i had to get it. hehe. oh, it's bad. but i liked it. hehe. story's retarded, the dialogue is painful... but it's supposed to be. it's just super campy. but sometimes it tries TOO hard to be campy. it also has the main dude from Undeclared in it. hehe.
We Own the Night. [Bobby Green (Joaquin Phoenix) manages El Caribe, a hot New York City nightclub, while estranged brother Joseph (Mark Wahlberg) has followed in their policeman father's (Robert Duvall) footsteps. The two are reunited by dealings with the Russian mafia, which has a foothold in Bobby's business. As Joseph puts pressure on the mob, its members turn the screws on Bobby. Eva Mendes and Tony Musante co-star in writer-director James Gray's action-drama. ~netflix] it was pretty good... i was gonna give it 4 stars, but i liked it less than Gone Baby Gone and i couldn't get myself to rate them the same. heh. yeah. all the acting is really good, though. and they make it all so believable. even though the situation seems unbelievable... and i always love mark wahlberg.
.:What I'm Listening To:.
Celso Machado: Jogo da Vida.
if you love brazilian music, you NEED to listen to celso machado. he is
an amazing musician. and the closest i will ever get to world music.
hehe. i'm not a fan of world music, but he isn't JUST world music. he
is just... amazing. and my god, if you ever get to see him live, DO IT.
he makes the atmosphere electric with his music. btw, mia also loves to
dance to this CD. how much do you think this CD is going to get played
at our home? hehe.
Dubfire: Digital Dreams. this is a CD from mixmag... it's awesome. if you can get your hands on a copy, do it. he's gonna be in OC (less than 10 minutes from home!) but... i'm going to guess that steve and i won't be able to go together. [mia ruins EVERYTHING! hehe] maybe he'll go by himself. *sigh* OR MAYBE I WILL GO BY MYSELF!!!! :P hehe.
Hot Chip: Made in the Dark. it's fun! i really enjoyed this CD. i see myself listening to this album a lot this year.
Lenny Kravitz: It is Time for a Love Revolution. it's lenny. which means... that it's not really great music. but it's palatable. heh.
Me'Shell Ndegeocello: The World Has Made Me the Man of My Dreams. holy cow. did i spell her name right? and if you're gonna adopt a different name than the name you were given at birth, could you pick one that would be easier to spell or say? sheesh. hehe. so, what am i supposed to write here? uhm. she's amazing. i liked this CD a lot. i haven't listened to anything she's done previous to this album, so i have nothing to compare it to. all i know is that i liked this CD.
Morcheeba: Dive Deep. i really prefer Big Calm to this one. but it was all right. drops next tuesday.
Morrissey: Greatest Hits. the name of the CD is a little misleading since a lot of the songs are from his last few CDs... and i wouldn't really call them his GREATEST hits... but they're really good. there are also a few unreleased tracks on here. the import version is out now... although, it's $35 and some change. you have to be a REALLY big fan, i guess... the US version is coming out in march, though... if you can wait for it. hehe.
Sia: Some People Have Real Problems. sia's always really easy to listen to. i thoroughly enjoyed this album.
Mixes and Live Stuff by Steve Lawler, TC (awesome drum 'n' bass), Sander Kleinenberg, Radiohead, Hot Chip. thank god for road trips. i love catching up on music!
all my lists will have to be alphabetized. i just can't put them in an order...

.:What I'm Watching:.
28 Weeks Later. [In this chilling drama starring Robert Carlyle, the inhabitants of the British Isles appear to have lost their battle against the onslaught of disease, as the deadly rage virus has killed every citizen there. Six months later, a group of Americans dare to set foot on the isles, convinced the danger has come and gone. But it soon becomes clear that the fight is far from over and the scourge continues to live, waiting to pounce on its next victims. ~netflix] why did i watch this movie?! i am such a scaredy cat! you know those zombies that run all fast and shit?! GAH!!!!! those things freak me out. oh, and there was a scene that freaked me out really bad... sheesh. i don't really remember too much of 28 Days Later, but for some reason since i watched the first one, i decided i had to watch the sequel. i seriously don't know what's wrong with me. *shudder* i'm SO going to have nightmares!!! luckily, i followed it up with bob saget's That Ain't Right. phew. oh, and i'm so retarded that when they put out a third one (you know they will...) i'll probably watch THAT one, too.Bob Saget: That Ain't Right. [Well-known television personality Bob Saget -- perhaps best known for his portrayal of squeaky-clean TV dad Danny Tanner on "Full House" -- headlines an unpredictable evening of adult-flavored comedy in this raucous stand-up special. Highlights include Saget's performance of "Danny Tanner Is Not Gay," a pop parody set to the tune of the Backstreet Boys' "I Want It That Way," and the music video "Rollin' with Saget" featuring Jamie Kennedy. ~netflix] the first few minutes kind of felt awkward to me for some reason, but i started to enjoy it after that. not the best hbo comedy special, but it's got it's funny moments. the bonus features has Rollin' with Saget. i really love that jamie kennedy video. if you're easily offended, don't watch this.
Innocent Voices. [Director Luis Mandoki presents a society of innocent victims who are caught in a blinding cross fire, a life-or-death environment in which survival is a daily struggle. Based on the true story of a now-grown Oscar Torres, this moving film (set in El Salvador in the mid-1980s) follows the drama of a young boy who must choose between enlisting in the Salvadoran army or joining up with a band of guerrillas. ~netflix] i honestly can not imagine growing up in a war-torn country. i mean, not like that. sure, our country's at war, but it's not HERE. it's so easy to forget what's going on there on the other side of the world.
Reign Over Me. [Consumed with grief after losing his family in the World Trade Center attacks, a widower (Adam Sandler) seeks help from his former college roommate (Don Cheadle), who's now a psychiatrist. Mike Binder (The Upside of Anger) directs this thought-provoking look at friendship and post-Sept. 11 society in New York City, co-starring Liv Tyler, Saffron Burrows and Jada Pinkett Smith. ~netflix] i got it because i really like don cheadle and after seeing adam sandler in Punch Drunk Love, i really like him as an actor. not just his comedy stuff. i mean, let's face it, adam sandler's comedy stuff is not THAT great. don't get me wrong. i love The Wedding Singer... and the others are funny and all, but they're not GREAT. anyway, the man can act. if you don't believe me, then you obviously haven't watched Punch Drunk Love. anyway. i was a little apprehensive about watching it (even though it got 8 out of 10 stars on imdb and 4 out of 5 on netflix) since it kinda has to do with 9/11. i was afraid that it only got good talent because it had to do with 9/11 somewhat and not because it was a good movie. and i was right to be apprehensive. the movie was bad. blah. but if you like unrealistic behavior and bad dialogue then this movie is FOR YOU!!! there was one moment in the movie that made me sad and that was when adam sandler's character finally lets out what he's been suppressing and he's remembering his daughters and his wife. that was a tearjerker moment. but it was the only one. i just found that i was more annoyed than anything throughout the movie.
.:What I'm Listening To:.
Radiohead: In Rainbows. LOVE IT. it's the best album of the year. that's right. i said it. BEST ALBUM OF THE YEAR. and if you don't like radiohead, you're a douche. that's right. i said that, too. :P
.:What I'm Watching:.
The City of Lost Children. [Nominated for a Golden Palm at the Cannes Film Festival, this sci-fi fairy tale features stunning visuals from directors Jean-Pierre Jeunet and Marc Caro. With mad scientist Krank kidnapping children to steal their dreams, only brave young Miette (Judith Vittet) and a kindhearted circus strongman (Ron Perlman) can save them. Part fantastic vision, part nightmare, this production used more special effects than any other French film to date. ~netflix] a little weird. but i really liked it. it's very dark... and slightly disturbing. the story can be a little hard to follow. visually, though i liked it a lot.
Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. [This sequel to the 2005 blockbuster follows Fantastic Four superheroes Reed (Ioan Gruffudd), Sue (Jessica Alba), Johnny (Chris Evans) and Ben (Michael Chiklis) as they battle the enigmatic Silver Surfer (Doug Jones), who travels the earth preparing it for total destruction. Director Tim Story's comic book adventure introduces viewers to the space-faring explorer Silver Surfer, created in 1966 by legendary Marvel writers Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. ~netflix] it was all right. there were some PAINFULLY cheesy moments, like they were trying too hard. i am SO glad i didn't put down any money for it at the theater. i actually liked the first Fantastic Four movie more. (even though my geek friends would probably crucify me for saying that. they HATED the first one and seemed to be okay with the second one.) the parts where the silver surfer were in it were pretty bad ass. they did a really good job with the graphics. i usually round up when i rate things on netflix, so i gave it 3 stars out of 5 (which means that i liked it.) but... it was more like 2.5 stars. i didn't really like it, but i gave an extra half star for the silver surfer parts. and then i ended up rounding up... so yeah.
Grave of the Fireflies. [Named Best Animated Feature at the 1994 Chicago International Children's Film Festival, this film proves that not all anime tales are pixie-dust fantasies or brutal sci-fi standoffs. Orphans Seita (voiced by Tsutomu Tatsumi) and Setsuko (Ayano Shiraishi) fight for survival in post-World War II Japan, but society is harsh. Soon, they come to the somber conclusion that they can neither escape the hardships of war nor find enough food to survive. ~netflix] oooh, yes. i cried like a little bitch. yes, i did. it was REALLY good. *sniffle* i still want to cry just thinking about it.
How I Met Your Mother, Season 1. [When his best friend, Marshall (Jason Segel), announces that he's finally going to wed his longtime girlfriend (Alyson Hannigan), single guy Ted (Josh Radnor) throws his search for a soul mate into high gear. Via flashback, he recounts to his kids (Lyndsy Fonseca and David Henrie) 25 years later the often-hilarious story of how he met -- and eventually married -- their mother. Neil Patrick Harris plays Ted's barhopping buddy. ~netflix] i LOVE NPH!!!! he's the best. we've watched the first disc and i have to say that as i was watching the episodes, i started liking the show more and more. i guess you could kind of say that it's a little like Friends. but better. actually, i wouldn't know if it's better than Friends because i honestly don't think i've ever watched an episode of Friends. well, not a full episode. and if i did, i don't remember it. am i the only person in the US who didn't have Friends-mania?
Jay and Silent Bob Do Degrassi. [Indie director Kevin Smith chooses Degrassi High for the location of his new film in this three-part season finale of the popular Canadian series. Smith and sidekick Jason Mewes hit the campus to film Jay and Silent Bob Go Canadian, Eh? which stars singer Alanis Morrisette as the principal who admits Jay and Silent Bob as students so they can finally graduate. This unrated director's cut features plenty of extras -- and explicit language. ~netflix] apparently, kevin smith is a big fan of degrassi high. junior high. no. high. i don't know what it's called anymore. because he and "jay" did some episodes for the show. it was all right. high school drama just isn't very interesting to me anymore, i guess because it was a little hard to watch the stupidity of it all. hehe. but it was all right.
Jindabyne. [The relationship between Stewart Kane (Gabriel Byrne) and his wife, Claire (Laura Linney), begins to crumble after Stewart finds a corpse while on a fishing excursion with friends but waits to alert authorities until the trip is over. When she learns about Stewart's callous delay, the horrified Claire attempts to atone for her husband. Deborra-Lee Furness and John Howard also star in this pensive drama from Aussie director Ray Lawrence. ~netflix] i thought i heard a story like this before. where these men go fishing, find a body, but continue their fishing trip and report it to the authorities later... but i can't recall where i would've heard such a story... or if it was fictional or not... anyway, it was just okay. i love laura linney, so i had to watch it. but the movie itself was just mediocre.
Surf's Up. [In this animated mockumentary, film crews go behind the scenes at the Penguin World Surfing Championship to provide a close-up look at the inventors of surfing. Yes, penguins were the first species to hang 10 -- or at least that's what this film purports. Animators Ash Brannon and Chris Buck co-direct the spoof, and Jeff Bridges, Zooey Deschanel, Brian Benben, Jane Krakowski, Michael McKean and James Woods, among others, lend their voices. ~netflix] i'm going to compare this to another animated penguin movie... uhm, just because they're both animated penguin movies. this one was WAY better than happy feet. i was SO disappointed in happy feet. i was expecting (and hoping for) so much more. mumble was pretty darn cute in happy feet, but this one had arnold. and two others that i don't know the name of. but man, they were adorable. hehe. and this movie was pretty good. it was cute without trying too hard. i enjoyed it.
.:What I'm Listening To:.
Radiohead: In Rainbows. gosh, i SURE wish i had this yesterday to review for today. i went to their site and ... well, it looks like there was a whole lotta traffic because i couldn't get the site to run for me. at ALL. it sucked. blah. maybe i'll try again later.
Stanton Warriors: The Remixes. awesome. totally awesome. but would you expect anything less from the Stanton Warriors?
.:What I'm Playing:.
Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords. i'm playing the version that's on the XBOX Live Arcade. this game is EEEEEVIL! evil, i tell you.
can't.stop.playing.soooo.tired.but.must.keep.playing. it's a puzzle
game INSIDE an RPG... oooh, i am in heaven!
