I loved The Fratelli's first album too, and even bought it for friends to spread the joy. I haven't checked out the latest album yet, but it sounds like it's not as good eh?

i loved the movie "in bruges"! we saw it on a whim when it was in the theaters, and it was hysterical. i think i could have lived without some of the blood & gore, but we both really liked it. and i didn't hate colin farrell either.

i also thought "vantage point" was really interesting. obviously it's a movie and they had to tie it up neatly, but i really really liked the way the different stories came together. it definitely gives you something to think about.

p.s. LOVE THE FRATELLIS!
Is your review of Vantage Point missing something? I don't know what I'm not supposed to be thinking about!!
I've been hearing a lot of good things about "Mad Men" -- that might be one of the next things to go into our netflix queue. NxNW is a classic!
well, i don't know... the amazon reviews are pretty good. but it just wasn't for me, personally...
colin farrell always looks like such a douche in real life, so i was surprised that i didn't hate him in the movie. hehe... actually, i just saw him in another movie that i didn't hate him in. Cassandra's Dream. i liked that movie, too.

vantage point was just all right for me. i did like the chase scenes. hehe...
ah. sorry. i didn't really clarify. heh. basically, as long as you're not trying to make sense of the plot, it's okay. you know how some movies you kinda need to turn off your brain because if you overthink it, you'll end up hating it? yeah. it's just one of those...
i love netflix so much. hey, you should be my netflix friend!!!! :D

i totally go between loving mad men and being pissed off. hehe...
